Moorings and Water Taxi
Swanage Water Taxi and Boat Hire is available from near the Stone Quay, and the operator also manages a number of moorings. For further information please call 07802 480139.
Swanage Boat Park
The boat park offers chargeable daily, weekly, seasonal, or annual storage, and launching facilities for craft and trailers.
For a small charge, dinghies/kayaks etc, may be carried up onto the slipway and stored, subject to availability.
Unfortunately, no moorings are available at the boat park.

Monkey Beach
You may leave non-motorised dinghies/kayaks etc, on Monkey Beach (which stretches from the Water Taxi kiosk to the Swanage Pier), although please note that all ‘anchor rings’ are privately owned.
RNLI Lifejacket Lockers
Twelve lockers are available which can be used as a free, secure, short term storage facility for lifejackets and personal belongings (a £1 deposit being refunded when the keys to the locker are returned). These are located adjacent to the Stone Quay, near to the Water Taxi kiosk.
Where can I launch my boat in Swanage?
Swanage (Peveril Point) Boat Park
The slipway at the boat park is available for launching craft from dawn to dusk throughout the year. Craft must not be launched from the slipway without prior payment

Alternatively, non-motorised craft can be launched from:
- The parish slipway (located off The Square) – all trailers must be removed from the slipway after launching
- Monkey Beach (near the Stone Quay) – this becomes very busy during high season
The launching of jet-skis and any motorised craft at these locations is strictly prohibited.
